About Our Center
Seward Child Care Center helps children learn and develop by providing democracy, anti-bias skills and environmental awareness when it was started by parents in 1973.
We use a developmentally appropriate curriculum that includes areas of social and emotional development, language, literacy and communication, physical and motor skills, cognition and artistic creativity. We provide a respectful, safe and nurturing environment while fostering a democratic environment for all.
This program offers Full Time Care for 24 preschoolers and 6 toddlers. Children are enrolled for either part time or full time care.
SCCC is open Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
SCCC uses High Scope Curriculum and Families All Matter Preschool Curriculum.
We accept families using Hennepin County Childcare assistance.
Please contact us if you are interested in enrolling.
