Block Party at SCCC
June 10th, 2023 1-4pm outside of Seward Child Care Center.
Join us for an afternoon of family friendly block party in celebration of 50 years of SCCC! We will have food, bouncy house, balloon artists, and yard games. We blocked off the entire street and we encourage you to bring your bikes and scooters. There will be opportunities to tour the school and buy your own “50 YEARS OF SCCC” shirt.
The event is free but there will be opportunities for donation if you are interested in supporting our in house scholarship fund.
If you cannot make it to our events but still want to support, consider donating to SCCC to help further our mission of providing high quality play based education with a focus on equity and inclusion.

SCCC will receive 10% of all proceeds, going towards increasing our in house scholarship fund.
Thank you to all those who supported our 50th Anniversary Kickoff Fundraiser on April 30th at the Hook and Ladder Theater and Lounge! Thank you to community members who attended, thank you to community businesses who donated auction and raffle items, and thank you to the many SCCC parents that helped execute this beautiful event. With all the donation, we were able to raise nearly $4500 towards our inhouse scholarship, making our education and care more accessible to families. Child care is often too expensive for families yet it is a need for nearly all families. Once again, thank you so much for supporting Seward Child Care Center in our pursuit to provide high quality, child led early education to all families.
